Rüstem Demir was born on August 25, 1971 in Ankara. He studied at Konya Selcuk University, Department of German Language Teaching. After university, he settled in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, and established the BDT Education Foundation in 2000 with his interest in education and his educator personality. Thanks to the foundation, he has been a source of inspiration for many educators and young people by realizing various projects in the national and international context. He is currently carrying out projects as the honorary president of the foundation and at the same time continues to work as an educator in various institutions.

 

 

He graduated from the Department of English Language Teaching in 2015. During his undergraduate education, he studied at Bydgoszcz Kazimierz Wielki University (Poland) and Eskişehir Anadolu University as a beneficiary of Farabi and Erasmus student exchange programs. He completed his first master's degree in the Computer Education and Instructional Technologies Department. Thanks to Erasmus +, he took part in internship programs in the UK and the Netherlands with the contents of technology use in foreign language education and nature education. Besides, he is experienced in writing, conducting, and coordinating Erasmus+ projects.He worked as an English teacher at the Ministry of National Education between 2015 and 2023. In addition, he worked at a private language school in Oxford/England between 2015 and 2019 as a seasonal supporter for the school administration. Currently, he is pursuing his second master's degree at Darmstadt Technical University/Germany in the field of Data and Discourse Studies.

Yaprak Kapukaya is a graduate of International Relations and holds a master's degree on the European Union. She works as Yeditepe University European Union Senior Project Specialist. She has been supporting projects as a mentor at the BDT Foundation since 2016. Experienced in project development and management processes, carrying out activities together with academy, industry and public stakeholders within the scope of fund-based Research and Development (R&D), Research and Innovation(R&I) and education / training projects. 

 

 

Yunus Ersoy has a Bachelor's and Master's degree in International Relations. It started to participate in European Union Project activities in 2013 and carried out mobilities in 16 European countries between 2014-2019. Between 2014-2018, he supported the European Union projects of our foundation. He also works as a Research and Development Manager in a private company.

 

 

She graduated from Erzurum Atatürk University, Psychological Counseling and Guidance Department in 2015. She participated in language education in England and an internship program in the Netherlands with various Erasmus programs.She has been working as a Psychological Counselor and Guidance Teacher at the Ministry of National Education since 2015.

 

  

 

 

Meriç Tahan is non formal education designer, trainer and EU Projects Manager, holding Master Degree in NGO Management from Marmara University. He has ongoing studies in the field of technology and socio-cultural issues. He is passionate about non-formal education and youth work. He has wide experiences in EU project management KA1, KA2 and KA3 field as well as Erasmus+ Sport and European Youth Together programmes.
